Set true north and landing direction

True north tells the system how the panorama aligns with the real world or floor plan. Landing direction tells the system where a guest should face when they enter the scene.

The easy workflow

Select a scene.
Open Grid and Radar in Map Studio.
Adjust True North until the radar direction matches the scene.
Set Landing Direction for the view guests should see first.
Save the map setup.

Pick Landmark

If you do not know north, use Pick Landmark. Face a visible landmark in the viewer, switch the map to satellite imagery, then double-click the matching landmark on the map. 360VR.Tours estimates north from that match.

Good north settings make automatic linking and guest navigation feel much more natural.
